Our Old Town Morning Cooking Class combines the convenience of a central location with the feeling of a hands-on Thai cooking experience. Located within walking distance of Thapae Gate, it is perfect for travelers who want to explore local ingredients, cook at a relaxed pace, and still stay close to the city.

A Secret Kitchen Garden in the Heart of the Old Town

Even though our school is located in central Chiang Mai, we still have our own kitchen garden.

Guests can explore fresh Thai herbs and vegetables right inside our Old Town school and learn how these ingredients are used in everyday Thai cooking.

It is a small green space hidden within the city — a place where you can connect ingredients with the dishes you are about to prepare.

Local Market Experience

Before cooking, visit a nearby local market with your instructor and discover Thai ingredients, herbs, vegetables, and seasonings.

Learn what to look for, how Thai ingredients are used, and how the flavors you see at the market connect to the dishes you will cook later.

Convenient Old Town Location

Our Old Town school is within walking distance of Thapae Gate, making it easy to fit a cooking experience into your Chiang Mai itinerary without spending extra time traveling to the countryside.

The morning class gives you time to explore the market and garden, cook step by step, enjoy what you prepare, and still have the rest of the afternoon free to continue exploring Chiang Mai.

This option is for guests who would like to accompany a participant but will not cook.

To keep the cooking and learning areas comfortable for participating guests, some class activities and workstations are reserved for cooking participants only.

Children Under 5

Free of charge when accompanying an adult and not participating as a cooking student.

Children Who Cook

Children who participate in the cooking class are charged the same price as adults, as they receive their own ingredients, cooking station, guidance, and full class experience.

An additional 3% charge applies to credit card payments.
