Seasonal Fruits at Asia Scenic
A Sweet Welcome from Our Organic Garden
Before the chopping begins.
Before the curry paste meets the mortar.
We take our students somewhere quiet.
Into the garden.
At Asia Scenic Thai Cooking School, learning does not start in the kitchen.
It begins under the trees — where Thai ingredients grow naturally, season by season.
Meet Marian Plum – A Thai Seasonal Treasure
One of the highlights in our fruit garden is Marian plum (locally known as Mayongchid or Maprang).
During its season, our trees are filled with smooth green fruits slowly turning golden under the Chiang Mai sun.

When still green, Marian plums are firm and slightly tangy — refreshing and crisp.

As they ripen, they become beautifully golden, sweet, aromatic, and incredibly juicy.
This natural transformation is something our students can see with their own eyes.
A Walk Before We Cook
Before entering the cooking class, students walk through our organic garden.
We introduce seasonal herbs, vegetables, and fruits — explaining how Thai cuisine depends on freshness and timing.

This is not just sightseeing.
It is understanding.
Understanding that Thai food is not just recipes.
It is connection — between soil, season, and plate.
100% Organic, Naturally Grown
Our Marian plums are grown organically, without chemical sprays.
Because we believe:
When ingredients are respected, flavor becomes honest.
Students often say this garden walk changes how they see Thai food.
It becomes real.
It becomes rooted.
Farm to Table — The Asia Scenic Way
At Asia Scenic, “farm-to-table” is not a marketing phrase.
It is our daily life.
You walk the garden.
You touch the leaves.
You taste seasonal fruits.
Then you cook.
And that memory travels home with you.
If you would like to experience seasonal Thai fruits and authentic farm cooking in Chiang Mai,
we would love to welcome you to our garden.
